As you study online with the University of Bath, you can connect with a team of support specialists throughout the whole journey. You can also access personalised library services and career advising.

Your Support Team

Student Recruitment Assistant

Your recruitment assistant is the first point of contact for the 100% online Master's courses at the University of Bath. They can answer any preliminary questions you have. Once you choose a course, your recruitment assistant will connect you to a recruitment coordinator.

Student Recruitment Coordinator

The Recruitment Coordinator will ensure that you have all the materials you need to apply to the online course you are interested in. Before your course begins, your coordinator can answer your questions about course content and online learning so that you are fully prepared.

Enrollment Coordinator

Applying for an online course can seem overwhelming. Your enrollment coordinator will help you navigate the process by ensuring that your application is complete before final submission.

Student Services Coordinator

You will be able to contact your student services coordinator as you study each unit, and they will make sure you are equipped with any general, academic or technical information you need during your Master's. The student support team will fill you in on University policies and procedures and support you as you complete your course.

Your Technical Support Team

If you have a technical issue as you navigate your online course, you can ask our 24/7 technical support team for assistance.

They can also show you how to upload a graded assignment to Engage, the virtual learning environment platform.

You can avoid several IT-related issues by following these IT instructions:

  • It is recommended you have the following operating systems to fully enjoy the benefits of our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE): either Windows 8, 10, or 11 Mac OS X 10.11 or later. Linux based operating systems will likely be sufficient but please note they are not officially supported by our technical support teams. You will need RAM of 4 GB or more and high-speed/broadband connection (at least 25Mbps). If you are unsure, you can test your internet speed here.
  • It is also important you have an up-to-date web browser, listed here: Chrome (version 30.0 or higher), Firefox (version 25.0 or higher), Microsoft Edge or Safari (version 6 or higher). Cookies must be enabled in your browser for our VLE to function correctly. Most browsers have cookies enabled by default. If you are unsure whether your browser is configured properly, please contact technical support for advice.
